Force Techniques

 

Advanced Vital Transfer

       When you use the Vital Transfer power, you may spend a Destiny Point to heal the target of all damage and remove all debilitating conditions affecting them. You suffer no ill effect.

Force Point Recovery

       At the end of an encounter, you automatically regain one spent Force Point.

       You may select this Force Technique multiple times. Its effects stack.

Force Power Mastery

       Choose a Force power. You may take 10 on Use the Force checks with this power, even when distracted or threatened.

Improved Battle Strike

       When you use the Battle Strike Force power, you can apply the bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls to all attacks made during a full attack action.

Improved Cloak

You can maintain your cloak as a move action, instead of a standard action.

Improved Dark Rage

       When you activate the Dark Rage Force power, you ignore the restriction that prevents you from performing tasks that require patience and concentration. Additionally, you can always activate this power in the surprise round, even if you are considered surprised.

Improved Force Grip

       When you successfully use the Force Grip power, your target can take no actions on their turn other than to choke and gasp or otherwise flail helplessly.

Improved Force Haze

       You no longer have to spend a Force Point to maintain Force haze when one of your allies attacks. In addition, you may now spend a Force Point to maintain Force Haze for the attacker.

Improved Force Lightning

       When you use the Force Lightning power and change the time it takes to activate it to a full-round action, your target must make a Strength check. If your Use the Force skill check result beats the target's Strength check, you knock it back 1 square, plus 1 square for every 5 points you beat their Strength check by. If you push the target into another object, both they and the target take 1d6 points of bludgeoning damage for every square of movement.

       The target adds their Base Attack Bonus and size modifier to their Strength check.

Improved Force Storm

       As a swift action, you can end the duration of Force Storm to deal 2xdamage to all targets in 2x(the area of affect).

Improved Force Thrust

       When you activate the Force Thrust power, you can change the time it takes to activate it to a full-round action in order to affect all-creatures in a 6-square cone. You can spend a Force Point to change this to a 12 square cone, or to apply the normal bonuses of a Force Point to the 6-square cone.

Improved Force Trance

       Each hour you remain in Force trance, you regain a number of HP equal to 2 x your character level.

Improved Levitate

       If you are involuntarily moved over a drop, you may spend a Force Point to activate Levitate as a reaction. If you do so, you end your forced movement in the last square before the edge of the precipice.

Improved Malacia

       You can maintain the damage threshold penalty of the Malacia power as a swift action.

Improved Mind Trick

       When you use the Mind Trick power, you can change the time it takes to activate it to a full-round action to affect all creatures in a 6-square cone originating in your square. You can spend a Force Point to increase the area to a 12 square cone.

Improved Move Light Object

       You may make a Use the Force check to move a light object as a swift action instead of a move action. Using the light object as a projectile requires a move action instead of a standard action.

Improved Phase

       You may end a single move action inside an occupied space, but you must end your turn in an empty, legal space.

Improved Rebuke

       When an ally in 12 squares an line of sight is targeted with a Force power, you can use the Rebuke power as if you were the target of that power instead.

Improved Rend

       The base range of your Rend power increases to 12 squares. When using this power on a creature on a character or creature, you ignore the creature's DR.

Improved Repulse

       When you use the Repulse power, you can change the time it takes to activate it to a full-round action in order to target all creatures in a 2-square radius burst centered on you. You can spend a Force Point and increase the time it takes to activate it to a full-round action to target all creatures in a 4-square burst.

Improved Sense Force

       You may use the Sense Force application of the Use the Force skill as a move action rather than a full-round action.

Improved Sense Surroundings

       You may use the sense surroundings application of the Use the Force skill as a free action instead of a swift action.

Improved Shatterpoint

       When you move a target down the condition track with an attack benefiting from the Shatterpoint power, you can spend a Force Point to make the target's condition persistent. This persistent condition can only be removed by surgery or repairs (depending on the nature of the target).

Improved Technometry

       When you use the Technometry power, you can change the time it takes to activate it to a full-round action to have it affect all droids in a 6-square cone originating from your square.

Improved Telepathy

       Whenever you use the telepathy application of the Use the Force skill, you may roll twice and keep the better result.

Master of the Force

       You may spend Force Points one additional time per round.

       You may take this Force technique multiple times. Its effects stack.
